About me

I received both my B.A. (2002) and M.A. (2005) from The Ohio State University. Currently, I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology and a student research affiliate with the Initiative in Population Research at Ohio State.

My primary research interests include social demography, marriage/family, social stratification, and quantitative methodology. Currently I am working on research projects which examine the impact of marriage timing on educational assortative mating, the remarriage process after divorce, and the effect of family factors on socioeconomic stratification.
