Departmental Scholarships and Awards

Scholarships

The Department of Sociology offers two annual scholarships to continuing, undergraduate students. These awards are based on merit and need. Applications are due March 2nd, 2007.

Our scholarship funds are:
The Alberta Garber Scott Fellowship
and the
Frederick E. Lumley Memorial Scholarship

Awards

Each Spring, the Department recognizes the academic, leadership and extra-curricular acheivements of our undergraduate students. One Criminology and one Sociology major recieve the Outstanding Senior Award each year. Applications are due March 2nd, 2007.
