Tutoring Lab - NOT OPEN SU08
The Department of Sociology is proud to offer the services of a tutoring lab to our students! This lab was created in Spring 2004 as a resource for students enrolled in the Core Courses:
- SOC 488 - Sociological Theory
- SOC 487 - Types of Sociologic Inquiry
- SOC 549 - Quantitave Research Methods in Sociology
These courses are the foundation for the discipline of Sociology. Therefore, they play a very important role in the study of both Sociology and Criminology. Unfortunately, we have identified these courses to be a barrier to "timely completion of degree" for some students. Our goal is to decrease this barrier by providing assistance to students who may struggle with the concepts included in these courses.
We hope that you take advantage of this resource!
